Audio Recording

StaffordAV has a small purpose built recording studio/control room Suitable for recording singer songwriters or voice-overs. If you have already recorded we can offer mix-down and mastering services too. The studio is equipped with a selection of condenser, dynamic and ribbon microphones, and we record directly to computer through a Presonus Firepod allowing upto eight channels to be recorded simultaneously. If you require that analogue sound we have a selection of mixers and outboard equipment that can be patched in.

Video & multimedia

StaffordAV offers a wide range of media services. We can produce training and promotional videos as well as transferring your old VHS video tapes to DVD. If you already have your video material we can add effects and sound tracks. We can both author DVDs or optimise your material for digital streaming over the internet. StaffordAV can also provide training for the Adobe range of software.

As all the aspects of traditional media converge into web based delivery, StaffordAV has the experience to combine both audio and video into integrated web pages as well as create web sites from scratch.

Audio Mastering

StaffordAV offers a cost effective mastering service that can enhance your recordings before you unleash them onto the general public. Send us an email indicating how many tracks you would like mastering and we will let you know the turn around time for your completed tracks. Once we have agreed to master your tracks, you can choose either to send us a CD with your tracks on or upload your tracks to our on-line storage space. Once we have done the work you will be able to access short clips to let you hear the results.

 Live Sound

Although a new company, StaffordAV has over 30 years experience in live sound. Our level of expertise is second to none and we can provide both the personnel and equipment to ensure your event or gig is not limited by the sound.

We can provide many combinations of equipment to ensure that you get the right package for your event. We do not provide rigid packages. You might need a powerful PA system but just one microphone or small discrete system with complex mixing facilities. By tailoring the equipment we provide to your needs you don't pay for something that you don't need. Please contact us and we will be happy to discuss your needs and how much it will cost.

Horns & Waveguides

StaffordAV are developing a range of cost effective hand made fibreglass horns and waveguides suitable for use in sound reinforcement  and hi-fi loudspeakers. The emphasis of the designs will be high quality sound production, and we eventually hope to provide appropriate lms settings for various horn/drive unit combinations. StaffordAV also hope to produce a range of wooden horns suitable for hi-fi use.
